Hosting

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When you access the site, Vercel processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, time of access, requested page) to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a secure, efficient operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Google Analytics (only with your consent)

If you accept via the cookie banner, this site uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service by Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics sets cookies to analyze how the site is used; IP addresses are truncated before processing. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, measurement runs cookieless via Google Consent Mode — nothing is stored on your device. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site’s browser data and answering the banner again. For transfers to the USA, Google relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Comments (only if you load them)

Comments under posts are provided by giscus, which stores them as GitHub Discussions in a public repository. The comment widget is notloaded until you click “Load comments”. Only then does your browser contact giscus.app and GitHub Inc. (88 Colin P Kelly Jr St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which will see your IP address and set the cookies needed to sign you in to GitHub. If you never click, no data goes to either. Legal basis: your consent by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Anything you post is public, is stored by GitHub, and is subject to GitHub’s privacy statement. You can delete your own comments in the GitHub discussion; ask me and I will remove them too.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, plus the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, just send an email to the address above.
